Hi, April!
Thanks for sending your question to Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Getting around Walt Disney World can be confusing, but there are many options for guests to travel from location to location easily.
When you want to travel to a park from
Disney's Art of Animation Resort, head to the bus stop; look at the map on the link provided, and you'll see images of buses lined up near the lobby. Bus stops are marked with signs that note which park those buses will be traveling to, so when you want to head to
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, stand at the AK bus stop at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Whichever park you happen to visit at the end of each day, you'll find signs at the park bus stops which designate your resort's bus stop, too. Easy peasy!
Park hopping transportation options change frequently, so be sure to ask a Cast Member either at your resort or at the bus stop area at a park if there is a bus that will take you directly from one park to another.
When hopping between Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot, however, you'll have different options. First, there is a flat, paved, well-lit path that runs between these two parks. At a leisurely pace you could get from one to the other in about 15 minutes. If you'd rather relax and ride between the two, however,
Walt Disney World Water Transportation runs from one to the other, stopping at several resorts in between, throughout the day and into the night.
Of course, if in doubt, Cast Members are stationed near transportation, and they are always happy to give you the latest info.
Send more questions as you think of them, April; we love to help!
