Is there a transportation from airport to park and back

    Hi Johnna!

Welcome to planDisney!  Thanks for stopping by before you visit The Most Magical Place on Earth!

Johnna, Disney does not currently offer complimentary transportation between Orlando International Airport and Walt Disney World Resort, but you’ll find several paid options available in the area.  While the list of choices is pretty long, one of our family favorites is the Mears Connect bus service.  You can visit their website directly to purchase one-way or round-trip transfers for your vacation.  This shared service means you’ll likely stop at multiple hotels for drop-offs and pickups, but we’ve found it to be very family-friendly when traveling with toddlers and preschoolers.

Another option is a rideshare service, which is often the fastest and most direct choice when traveling to and from the airport.  I’ve found rideshares readily available, and many apps allow you to either arrange a ride in advance or request a driver once you arrive.  Alternatively, several private companies offer car services for a more personalized experience.

If you’re staying at a Deluxe Resort, Deluxe Villa Resort, or in a Club Level room, you also may want to consider a Minnie Van reservation (additional cost applies).  These adorable vans are functional and fun for families looking to add an extra pinch of pixie dust to their vacation plans!  Standard Minnie Vans include two complimentary convertible car seats, which is super convenient if you’re traveling with little ones.  Accessible van options are also available if needed, and include one car seat.

planDisney Pro Tip - Don’t forget that Disney Resort hotels offer online check-in.  This is an easy and convenient process that allows you to take advantage of their Direct-to-Room service and start your magical vacation right away!

Once you arrive at your Disney Resort hotel, you can say “Hakuna Matata” when it's time to head to the theme parks!  Disney’s extensive on-site transportation network is complimentary for resort Guests and includes buses, boats, the Walt Disney World Monorail, and the Disney Skyliner.  If you need help figuring out the best way to
navigate between destinations during your stay, your My Disney Experience Mobile App can be a handy Mouseketool to help you identify nearby transportation options.

I hope this information has been helpful, Johnna, and that you have a wonderful visit!  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney - we’re all ears!

    Cheers!
    Kristi
