How do we get transportation from the airport to the Boardwalk hotel

Hi there, Kimberly, and welcome to planDisney!

Oh, how I love Disney's BoardWalk Inn! The charming atmosphere of this Resort hotel truly shines at night beside Crescent Lake—it's picture-perfect at its finest! Additionally, being just a short walk or boat ride away from Hollywood Studios and EPCOT makes this hotel one of the best!

So before you can experience the BoardWalk magic, we need to help you get from the airport to Walt Disney World Resort, so let's talk transportation!

As an out-of-state Annual Passholder, I often fly into the Orlando Airport. I'm not sure if you use social media much, but it has become a tradition for travelers to take a picture of their feet on the iconic Orlando Airport carpet upon arrival. I'm really excited for that moment for you! Kimberly, there are two convenient modes of transportation that I typically use.

If traveling with a small party, using a ride-share service is easy and convenient. The cost can be slightly higher than other options, but the additional charge has always been nominal. The benefit of using ride-share is that you'll get your own car to take you directly to the BoardWalk Inn without making other stops. This is your quickest option.

If you are traveling with a larger party, I recommend using Mears Connect. You can book and pay for your trip in advance on their website. Upon arrival, collect your luggage and follow the directions to their buses, which will be included in your confirmation email. The buses are clean, and the drivers have always been friendly and helpful. Keep in mind that these buses make multiple stops at Disney Resort hotels, so it may take a bit longer to reach your destination. That said, this is my preferred transportation option when traveling with a larger group.

Kimberly, I hope this helps you get all your plans organized! If you have time to explore the BoardWalk area, check out the new Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs stand. I was there just last week, and I have to say, you need to try the GIANT (and I mean GIANT) mozzarella stick they offer! It's quite an experience!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney! We're here to help anytime!

    Happy planning,
    Shonette
