Transportaion Questions: 1)the Swan to Downtown Disney 2)Swan to Chef Mickey How long will each take and best route. Thanks!

    Hi, Karyn!

To get to Downtown Disney from the beautiful Swan Resort, just hop on a bus at your resort's bus stop.  All buses are clearly marked with their destination.  Count on about a 30 minute bus ride to one of my favorite Disney destinations (I could spend all day in Downtown Disney shopping, dining, catching a movie....)

To get to Chef Mickey's, hop on a bus at the Swan heading to the Magic Kingdom and take the short walk over to the Contemporary. (Chef Mickey's is on the 4th floor of the Contemporary.)  Your travel time will be about 40 - 45 minutes.  If you find you are running late for a dining reservation, taxis are available at the front entrance of your resort.  A taxi ride will take about 10 - 15 minutes and cost under $20 in taxi fare.

I am a huge fan of the Swan and have stayed there several times, so let me know if you have any questions about this awesome resort!   Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
