Hiya, Sandra! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for sharing your question with us.
Walt Disney World offers multiple modes of
complimentary transportation that can take you to the theme parks, Disney Springs, hotels, and other locations around the resort. The buses, monorail, and Disney Skyliner can all accommodate Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs), as can most boats. Water taxis vary in size, so it's best to check with a friendly cast member at the dock to ensure the particular boat you wish to board can accommodate your ECV.
There is also the
Minnie Van service if you’re looking for a more direct route to the theme parks. They have an accessible Minnie Van option that can fit two mobility devices and has seating for 5 additional passengers. This is not complimentary like the buses or other options, but rather a private car driven by a Walt Disney World Cast Member that you book with the Lyft app.
I do want to note that the
Walt Disney World Property Rules specify that ECVs should be single-rider and not exceed 36 inches in width or 52 inches in length. Larger ECVs may not fit in the transportation options I've mentioned above.
It may seem far away now, but your summer Walt Disney World adventure will be here before you know it.
Cool Kids’ Summer will be in full swing with special events, character experiences, new attractions, and so much more. The popular
water park perk, which allows Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests to enjoy free admission to Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach on their check-in day, is also returning. You’ve picked a great time to visit!
I hope this information helps with your trip planning, Sandra. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have more questions or need recommendations. You're as welcome as can be at planDisney!
Magical travels!
Matt
