Hiya Joseph. Welcome to planDisney. We're so glad you found us to ask this question. It sounds like a visit to the Disneyland Resort is in your future and I'm thrilled to help you prepare.
While theme park tickets are
nonrefundable and may not be sold, you can absolutely gift someone a ticket. It sounds like you may want others in your group to have access to their tickets during your visit to the parks. This can easily be done in the
Disneyland app. Tap on the "☰" to open the menu, followed by tapping the "Tickets and Passes" tile. Next, tap the "+" in the top right corner and then tap "Link Tickets & Passes" where you will find different options to add a ticket. I find the quickest and easiest way is using the "Camera" feature to scan the ticket barcode. That's all there is to it, easy peasy, you're ready to go.
If you're visiting soon and before the end of October, you will get to enjoy the resort during
Halloween Time in all of its spooktacular glory. I recently returned from a visit and enjoyed all of the frightfully fun decorations - especially the giant Mickey pumpkin at the beginning of Main Street, U.S.A. There are also plenty of dreadfully delightful seasonal eats and treats for you to sink your teeth into. You can find a guide to all of the Halloween fun in the Disneyland app.
Joseph, I hope this helps as you get ready for your magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. Please come back to see us with any other questions that we can help with. Here's wishing you a ghoulishly good time.
Michelle
