Hi Emma! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
Sometimes plans change and you need to adjust. I recently had this happen with an admission ticket my cousin was supposed to use on an upcoming vacation. She's no longer going to be along for the trip, but I was able to transfer her ticket to another member of our group after speaking to a helpful Cast Member. It was an incredibly easy process!
The good news is that any unused
admission ticket may be transferred. Please note, with any ticket, the eligibility requirements must be met by the person using them. With
SoCal tickets, the person will need to also fit the residency requirements of that ticket. Also, once it's time to use the ticket and it's scanned at the gates, the same person must use it throughout the trip. Finally, do be aware that while you can transfer a wholly-unused ticket, terms indicate that you can't sell a ticket.
In order to reassign the ticket and have the name match the new Guest, you can call the
Tickets phone line. A Cast Member can assist you in making the necessary change.
I hope your next visit is right around the corner!
Elizabeth
