How do I transfer my points to another DVC account?

    Welcome to planDisney, Brack!

Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.  Don't you just love all the ways you can use your Disney Vacation Club Membership to create the perfect vacation? From staying at a Disney Vacation Club Resort to sailing the high seas, and even blasting off to a faraway galaxy, the sky's the limit! And here's the coolest part –– not only can you use for Vacation Points to create magical experiences for yourself, but you can also share them with other DVC friends and family members through a Vacation Points Transfer.  Whether you're combining Points for one epic Walt Disney World Resort visit or just sharing a few extra Points with a friend, I'm happy to share a few details about how the transfer process works to help you along the way.

Vacation Points can be transferred to another Disney Vacation Club Membership once per Use Year.  In order to begin the transfer process, you'll need to give Member Services a call at (800) 800-9800 and a Cast Member will be happy to assist you.  Just be sure to have your Membership number handy when you make the call.

Here are a few things you'll want to keep in mind when it comes to making a Vacation Points Transfer.  You may only transfer or receive Vacation Points once per Use Year.  This means that if you transfer Points to a friend and they plan on transferring Points back to you in the future, they will need to wait until the next Use Year to transfer Points back to your account. Transferred Vacation Points also can't be used for Home Resort Priority reservations –– they can only be used to book reservations in the 7-month booking window.  And finally, at this time, transferred Vacation Points are not displayed in the Vacation Points overview on your Member Dashboard.  However, these Points are available in the online booking system, so you'll be able to book and modify reservations online.  If you have any questions, your best bet is to reach out to Member Services for more details.

I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney, Brack.  If you think of more questions about your Disney Vacation Club Membership, I hope you'll visit us again –– we're always happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
    Amy
