Hi, Could I transfer one of my SoCal tickets to a friend, we all want to go to California adventure for my best friends birthday and her parents rent was just increased due to the La fires so she can’t afford to go anymore.

Hey there, hi there, Lauren! Welcome to planDisney. You've brought us a great ticket question.

I am sorry to hear your friend and her family were affected by the recent LA fires. As a southern California resident, it was heartbreaking to watch so many deal with such devastation. I'm glad that you all can have a day of magic and celebrate your best friend's birthday. I'm happy to share that you can transfer a ticket to another Guest as long as it's wholly unused. Once a ticket is used it is no longer transferrable. You cannot break up a ticket and transfer just a day to someone. So if you purchased multiple Sothern California Tickets, you can transfer an unused ticket to your best friend as long as she qualifies for this offer. If you want the name changed on the ticket, just hop on the chat feature in the Disneyland app to request that name change.

Any day at Disneyland is special, but it's extra special when you have something to celebrate. Be sure to stop by the Chamber of Commerce or pop into a shop and ask a Cast Member for a complimentary birthday button for your friend. You can also get "I'm Celebrating..." buttons for the rest of you so you can let everyone know about your bestie's birthday! It's always fun for Cast Members and Guests to send wishes in passing!

Lauren, I hope you all have one magical birthday celebration. See you real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
