Hi, Can I transfer not used SoCal resident ticket to someone else? My son might not be able to join, and I was wondering if I can transfer my son’s ticket to my husband. And we are all SoCal residents. Thank you, Yulia.

Hey there, hi there, Yulia! We are so glad you have stopped by planDisney with your ticket question for us.

I am excited to hear you are planning a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth soon and you were able to take advantage of one of the special ticket offers! I am sad to hear that your plans may have to change for your son. You can most definitely transfer the ticket to someone else who qualifies for the ticket offer. If your son's name is already on the ticket it should be fine for your husband to use it. If you would like to change the name, the person who purchased the tickets would just need to call Ticket Services or chat with a Cast Member on the Disneyland website or app to request the name change. Since you have the SoCal Resident Tickets, be sure that each adult brings a government-issued ID that has a current address with a qualifying zip code.

Hopefully, you are planning to visit during the Food & Wine Festival! This Guest-favorite festival kicks off on February 28, 2025, and the Foodie Guide just dropped this week. It's definitely worth a visit and I always suggest grabbing the Sip & Savor Pass so you can try plenty of bites and drinks throughout the marketplaces.

Yulia, I am excited for you and your husband to enjoy some time in the parks. See you real soon!

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
