Like you, we appreciate the usefulness of
MagicBands and the memories they help us create. Unfortunately, once you link a MagicBand in your My Disney Experience account,
it cannot be transferred. So, yes, while I have
deactivated MagicBands in the past, I have not been able to transfer them to anyone else.
If you are trying to merge My Disney Experience Accounts, you may want to contact Walt Disney World Technical Support at 407-939-4357. My husband had two My Disney Experience accounts at one point and we had to get technical support to merge accounts. Once merged, his MagicBands were linked correctly!
As you follow the
operational updates in preparation for your visit, be sure to check for enhancements to the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. In addition to using it to unlock the room door at our resort hotel, we have loved using it for
mobile food & beverage ordering. You can also use it to access restaurant menus and do
online check-in with your resort hotel.
