    How to transfer e-ticket Disneyland

    Hi there, Kelli!

Welcome to planDisney. Planning a Disneyland visit is such a fun way to celebrate these warm summer months!

Disneyland tickets can usually be transferred as long as they haven’t been used to enter a theme park, in my experience. Once a ticket has been scanned even once, it’s officially tied to that Guest and can’t be transferred.

If your ticket is completely unused and you would like to give it to someone else, have them open their Disneyland app and tap the three bars at the bottom of the screen. Select "My Tickets & Passes," tap the "plus" symbol at the top, and choose "Link Tickets & Passes." From there, they can scan the printed ticket’s barcode, type in the ticket ID number, or link it with a MagicBand+.

If the ticket hasn’t been used, the name on it generally doesn’t matter. Most tickets become officially assigned only after they are scanned at a park entrance. Tickets can also be added to more than one app, so it’s usually fine if it already appears in another Guest’s account (as long as it hasn’t been used). If you’d still prefer the name to match, you can call the "Tickets" line or chat with a Cast Member online to request a name change.

With so many fun things planned for this summer, I'm glad you are planning to visit Disneyland! Bluey's Best Day Ever! is a super cute experience for the entire family, plus Disneyland's 70th Celebration continues through August 9, 2026. Soarin' Across America has also taken flight in Disney California Adventure Park, and a fun, new mission can be found on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run in Disneyland Park.

Kelli, enjoy every moment of your time at Disneyland! I hope you reach out to planDisney again if you have more questions.
