Hi, Peter, and welcome to
planDisney. I’m sorry to hear you won’t be using your ticket, but it’s great that you’re sharing the magic with someone who can enjoy it.
You should be able to transfer unused tickets to another guest by linking the ticket to their
Disneyland Mobile App. Unfortunately, if this is a multi-day ticket and you’ve used the first day, you will not be able to transfer the ticket. To transfer the ticket, have the person you’re transferring to open the Disneyland Mobile App, navigate to the (☰) at the bottom right corner of the screen, click “My Tickets and Passes,” then click the (+) in the top right of the screen. From there, click “Link Tickets & Passes” and select the method you prefer to enter the ticket number to complete the process. The ticket should show up in their app, and they should be able to scan into the park!
If this doesn’t work, I’d suggest reaching out to
Disneyland Resort Help Center or chatting with a cast member by going to
Disneyland.com, clicking on “Tickets and Parks,” and clicking the “Help” button on the right side of the screen.
While I don’t have experience with prepaid parking, I’m fairly certain it shows up just like a ticket in your app, so the process should be similar to allow someone to link it to their account.
Peter, your friend will have some experience with the Disneyland Mobile App after transferring this ticket. Encourage them to explore the app and all it has to offer - booking
Lightning Lanes,
mobile ordering food, checking attraction wait times and scheduled entertainment, and so much more!
Don’t hesitate to stop back by planDisney for any questions about your next trip.
Have a magical day.
Corey
