Can I transfer a Disney gift card to my Disney redemption card?

    Hello, Aaron!

Welcome to planDisney! I am delighted that you have stopped by with your planning question. I am a huge fan of both Disney Gift Cards and the Disney Rewards Redemption Cards. Setting aside a little extra each week to make a gift card purchase or earning points while using your credit card for everyday purchases are two fantastic ways to save on your next visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. You can even find some great deals on Disney Gift Cards through some of your favorite retail locations. This can help your savings for your next big adventure grow quickly.

While Disney Gift Cards and Disney Rewards Redemption Cards can both offer you great savings, they are two completely different card types. Sadly, you cannot transfer the balance from one card to the other. So be sure to pack in your park bad on your next magical adventure!

Aaron, there are so many amazing things happening at Walt Disney World this year! The World's Most Magical Celebration is still going strong and traditional Character Greetings are returning this month. And just in case you didn't hear the exciting news, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is opening next month! This amazing attraction is reason enough to plan a visit!

I hope that you are able to plan your next trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth in the near future!
    See ya real soon!
