Can I transfer my 3 day park hopper tickets to someone who doesn’t live in California but someone who is visiting?

    Hi there, Landyn!

I hope you’re having a practically perfect day. Welcome, and thanks for visiting planDisney with this great question about theme park tickets at the Disneyland Resort

Generally speaking, you can reassign a wholly unused park ticket to another person. A possible exception to this is if the tickets you have are for Southern California residents specifically, which would require the Guests using them to have proof of eligible residency in the form of a valid government-issued ID. To change the names associated with your tickets, you can place a call to the ticket helpline at (714) 781-4636 and a Cast Member will assist you.

Once the names on the tickets have been adjusted, your friend can link them to their account using the Disneyland Resort mobile app. After launching the app, tap the three stacked lines near the bottom right of the screen and then select the “Tickets and Passes” section. Tap the “+” symbol in the upper right corner and use the “Link Tickets & Passes” button to add the tickets. Lastly, either scan each ticket barcode with the phone’s camera or manually type the ID numbers. Tickets can also be linked online at disneyland.com by selecting the “My Disneyland” dropdown tab and then “Link Tickets.”

I hope these instructions are helpful, Landyn. Please feel free to write back with any other questions you may have about the Disneyland Resort!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
