How can I transfer a 3 day Disneyland hopper pass I did not use last year? It has an expiration date of 13/31/22

Hi there, Debra! Welcome to planDisney!

We all love making plans, especially ones that include vacationing at The Happiest Place on Earth! But the one tricky part? Life happens! Fortunately, the Disneyland Resort understands that things come up for Guests and sometimes, their plans just have to change. Let's see how I can assist with your planning adjustments!

Debra, wholly-unused tickets may be transferred to another Guest. This means that if your ticket has not yet been used to scan into the theme parks and has not yet reached its expiration date, you may transfer this ticket to someone else. The process to transfer the ticket is pretty simple and requires very little effort on your part. The Guest you wish to transfer your ticket to will simply use it to scan into the theme park, regardless if their name is assigned to that ticket or not. The Cast Member at the turnstiles will take their photo and assign it to the ticket. Once this part of the process is complete, they will be the only one who can use this ticket for the rest of its duration. If you or the Guest visiting would prefer that their name be assigned to the ticket before arriving at the Disneyland Resort, you can give a Cast Member a call at the Ticket Services Line and they can switch the names over the phone.

There are a few small nuances I wanted to mention to help avoid any confusion or mishaps during the transfer process. First, the person using the ticket must match the age listed on the ticket. For example, an adult must use an adult ticket and a child must use a child ticket. Additionally, if the ticket you purchased was part of any promotional offers, the Guest must meet those requirements to use it. For example, if the ticket is for California Residents only, the Guest show proof of their California Residency, just as you would.

Overall, this process is fairly simple, Debra! While I'm sorry that you may not be able to enjoy the magic, I hope that you're able to transfer this ticket to someone else who will bask in all of the pixie dust of the Disneyland Resort!

    Have a magical day,

    Ashley
