Always happy to talk Disney with a fellow Georgian, Kristin. Thank you for swinging by planDisney as you get ready for what will certainly be an unforgettable adventure at sea. I have always dreamed of going on a repositioning cruise. Thinking of your 13-Night Eastbound Transatlantic Cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Barcelona and your question about the Golden Mickeys has me signing "Two worlds one family." A paradise untouched by man... Ok, back to your questions.
On your cruise, each Monday night will be in high style! You will have the chance to deck out in your finest for two formal nights. I love the ambiance on formal nights with music in the Atrium Lobby and everyone in high spirits. On the first Friday, you can don an eye patch and
party like a pirate with all your new mateys. All other nights are
cruise casual. On the first Wednesday, you will also get to celebrate with our favorite Disney pals at
Mickey's Color Spin Dance Party. (Now I am even more excited for you and this cruise!)
For dates of shows like
Beauty and the Beast,
Disney's Believe, and
The Golden Mickeys, you are going to have to trust your heart and let the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App decide. The schedule of the shows and when you will get to sing along, marvel at Tarzan, and get immersed in the magic of Disney storytelling will be available once you are on the ship.
I loved the care my son got at
"it's a small world" nursery. In addition to the nursery in the evenings to enjoy the entertainment, we scheduled nap times so we could soak up the sun in the
Quiet Cove Pool or savor a late brunch at
Palo. There may be days you want to hang out in your stateroom while your little one sleeps. Don't forget
Room Service can be your best friend. A cheese and fruit plate with a classic Disney movie on the television and the waves in the background sounds like a perfect way to spend a few hours.
Now you have me dreaming again! Enjoy your cruise and stop back
planDisney with any other questions.
SEA 'Ya Real Soon!
