Are there still trams running from the parking lot to the monorail/ ferry at magic kingdom and from parking lot to front entrance at holllywood studios

    Welcome to planDisney, Kathleen!

Numerous changes have taken place to keep Guests and Cast Member safe during these unprecedented times in all areas of the Walt Disney World Resort. And yes, even the parking lots have been made safer for us all to enjoy the Theme Parks. Currently, all parking trams have been temporarily suspended. Also, cars are currently being parked in every other parking stall to help maintain social distancing. If a long walk to the front gates may be challenging, I would strongly recommend arriving at the Theme Parks early, as the lots are usually filled from front to back. You can also choose to pay an additional fee for preferred parking, which will be closer to the front gates and have you inside the magic in no time! If you arrive late in the day, cars are sometimes parked closer to the front gates to fill the spots of Guests who have already left - but that is never a guarantee. Just a little extra pixie dust!

Please keep in mind; these precautions may change at any time as the current situation evolves. Keep checking for Theme Park Updates and additional information by visiting the Know Before You Go webpage. I also recommend staying tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for news and information, and of course, you can come back to see us anytime here at planDisney with your questions. We would love to see you again!

    Have a magical day, Kathleen!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
