Hiya, Gloria, and thanks for bringing your question to
planDisney!
Like you, I’ve missed the
Disneyland Resort tram and can’t wait for it to return, hopefully soon! Unfortunately, the tram isn’t currently available from the
Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals Parking Structures. I visited the Disneyland Resort yesterday and walked along the tram route and noticed some construction underway. So, I’m hoping this is a good sign, as Cast Members prepare for the triumphant return of our beloved tram! Tram service is set to resume in early 2022, so I’m crossing my fingers that we’ll see this handy service back very soon!
In the meantime, Guests are able to walk from the Parking Structures to the parks using the dedicated walkway formerly used by the Disneyland Resort tram. From the Pixar Pals Parking Structure, you can also cross the pedestrian bridge to walk through
Downtown Disney District. You have a couple of other options, too. If you’re looking for transportation closer to the Main Entrance to the theme parks, you can also try parking in the Toy Story Parking Area and utilizing bus transportation. Or, you can also walk from the Toy Story Parking Area to the parks via Harbor Boulevard.
If you’re heading into Disneyland Park, another option is to take the
Disneyland Monorail from Downtown Disney District. This option will take you to the heart of the park, near the Matterhorn Bobsleds.
As we await an update on tram service. I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news. I’ll be sending pixie dust your way for an easy ride into the parks!
Can’t wait to see ya’ real soon, Gloria!
