Hey there! Hi there, Jordan! It sounds like you are starting the new year in full swing with a trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth.
To answer your question, you are not required to take the tram to the Transportation and Ticket Center, where you can catch the
Monorail or
ferryboat to
Magic Kingdom Park. Depending on your parking location, it may be a quick walk. If you arrive later in the morning, it could be a bit of a hike. You might wish Tarzan would swing by and carry you back to your car at the end of the day.
Before you lace up your sneakers, I want to make sure you are aware that wagons are prohibited in the theme parks. The
property rules state that strollers cannot be larger than 31" wide by 52" in length, and stroller wagons and other wagons are prohibited at any theme park or water park.
I know this may not be the news you were expecting to hear. I'm sorry. Your best option may be to rent a stroller.
Stroller rentals are available near the entrances of each theme park. When my children were younger, we always rented a double stroller for the convenience. If your theme park admission includes Park Hopping, you return the stroller as you leave one park and show your receipt to pick up another at the next one. I thought it was much easier than collapsing it for the tram or bus.
Jordan, I don't like being the bearer of bad news, but I hope finding out before you traverse all the way to the Magic Kingdom with everyone and everything in tow makes it easier.
