Is there a tram from the Epcot parking lot to the entrance

    Hi Elizabeth,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question!

It’s amazing the way that the Magic starts with every visit to a Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park from the moment you drive under the auto plaza marquee (the Park’s gate) and head to the parking lot. Recently, EPCOT’s parking lot got a big makeover, by having new character themed sections, each representing different characters and concepts that live in EPCOT

For the moment, parking lot trams are only operating at Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. There are none operating at either EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios. That said, there is new signage up that seems to indicate that the trams will be returning to the park at some point, so there’s still hope! Your best bet would be to keep checking the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-the-minute information about everything at Walt Disney World Resort.

Also, don’t forget that if you want to park your car a bit closer to the entrance, Preferred Parking is often available for an additional fee.

I hope my answer helps you plan a great start to your Disney Day! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
