Hi Melissa,
The
Walt Disney World Railroad does stop in Fantasyland, near the Barnstormer, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Big Top Souvenirs, the Casey Jr. Splash and Soak water play area and Pete's Silly Sideshow, home of character meet and greets.
That area was the first part of the New Fantasyland to open last year. From that train station, too, it is a quick walk along an uncrowded back sidewalk to Tomorrowland.
Other stops on the railroad are in Frontierland, near Splash Mountain and the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and at the Main Street USA station, right at the park entrance.
The entire circuit takes about 20 minutes and can be a nice way to take a little break. It's also a great, easy-on-the-feet way to get from one side of the park to the other. Trains run every few minutes.
I hope you have a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World. Please let me or one of my Moms Panel friends know if we can answer any other vacation planning questions. Enjoy!
Wilma
