Howdy, Misty! Welcome to planDisney, an outpost of answers for all your vacation planning questions!
Your fall visit to Walt Disney World will be here before you know it, and it sounds like you're making sure you know all your dining options. Way to go! Let’s take a look at where you might begin your magical Disney day.
I’m sorry to report that
Trail’s End Restaurant no longer offers a buffet and has instead switched to a marketplace-style quick service setup. I’m sure that’s not the news you wanted to hear, but there are still a lot of great
breakfast options, as well as lunch and dinner (rest assured, they still serve Mickey waffles. I double checked). Trail’s End also now offers mobile ordering, which you can access through the My Disney Experience mobile app.
Luckily, there are some other options if you’re looking for a breakfast buffet in the Magic Kingdom resort area. At the nearby Contemporary Resort is
Chef Mickey, and you’ll find
1900 Park Fare just across the Seven Seas Lagoon at the Grand Floridian. While not a buffet, the Polynesian Village Resort features a family-style character breakfast at
‘Ohana, which is then just a short monorail or water taxi ride from the Magic Kingdom.
I hope this information helps with your meal planning, Misty. Pop right back if you have any additional questions or are in need of dining recommendations. Your planDisney pals are here to help!
Happy trails and magical travels!
Matt
