Are traditional meet and greet gone forever. Are hugging characters banned.

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Michael!

It’s so nice to see you here visiting us at planDisney, welcome. Character meet and greets hold a special place in my heart. Watching my kids interact with them is probably one of my favorite parts of a Disneyland Resort vacation. It’s so magical to see them run up and hug the Characters and Princesses they’ve known to love from books and movies.

We recently visited the Walt Disney World Resort, where Character interactions are similar to those happening at Disneyland Resort. Characters are greeting from a distance and even though it was different, my kids still enjoyed waving to all their favorite Characters. I’m hoping that one day we all will be able to hug all of our favorite Pals once again, but in the meantime, seeing them from a distance is just as magical.

I do recommend keeping your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog, as well as the official Disneyland Resort website, for the most up-to-date information. This is where you will find the newest information on what is happening in the parks.

Michael, I hope this helps please be sure to give Mickey Mouse an extra wave for me.

    Have a Magical time!
