Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar! Trader Sam’s is a gem of a restaurant and tiki bar placed near the
E-Ticket Pool at
Disneyland Hotel, where locals and guests alike stop for a bite and a tiki drink, and stay for the atmosphere. Have a Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Rum, or a HippopatoMai-Tai, but watch out for wise-cracking skippers behind the bar if they offer you two of their heads for one of yours.
Trader Sam’s serves
five of their iconic cocktails in tiki mugs. They include the Shrunken Zombie Head, the Piranha Pool, the Krakatoa Punch, the Uh-Oa! Bowl (I don’t recommend drinking this alone), and the Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Rum Barrel. Unfortunately, it’s hard to say which mugs will be available, so ask your server which of these mugs they have for purchase when you arrive.
Trader Sam’s also releases special mugs three to five times a year. They recently released a
Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar 15th Anniversary Hyena Mug! While I doubt more of these will materialize, it’s a great example of the fun mugs Trader Sam’s releases. Release dates are typically announced in advance, so keep up with the
Disney Parks Blog for all your
official news. On the morning of a release, search “Trader Sam’s Mug Release” in your
Disneyland Mobile App to place a mobile order.
