Welcome to planDisney! We are so happy that you are here! If you were to tour my house, you would find quite a few mugs. If there is a souvenir mug at Walt Disney World, I either have it or have it on my radar to purchase.
Great question, by the way, Jake. Normally, I have my Prince Charming enjoy the beverage so I can purchase the mugs, since I also avoid alcohol. I reached out to my fellow panelists to get their experiences. Several of my pals mentioned that in their experience, they have been able to substitute a non-alcoholic drink for one of the specialty cocktails with the souvenir mug. However, they noted they had to pay the full price and were unable to order the mug without the drink. Now, one thing I did want to note is that this is up to the discretion of the Cast Member at
Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto. So I would recommend asking the Cast Member at the host stand or the bar before you are seated. They will let you know if they can accommodate that request during your visit.
