Is Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar at Disneyland Hotel still accepting reservations? My family and I are visiting June 7 - 15, 2025 and I have been on-line at 6:00 a.m. multiple days in a row trying to snag a reservations, and none are ever available.

    Hi Tim,

Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for continuing to trust us with your planning adventures. Grab your favorite aloha shirts and let’s sail right into some tiki-rific fun at Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar!

Dining reservations can usually be made 60 days in advance, and from my own tiki travels, I can tell you that reservations at Trader Sam’s are a hot commodity. At the time of this response, there are no reservations available for June 7–June 16. I know, I know—it may sound like the ship has sailed, but don’t abandon ship just yet! Keep checking the Disneyland app, especially during the week of your trip. Guests often change their plans, and you just might snag a spot when they do.

Here’s a tip straight from the tiki gods: swing by Trader Sam’s right when it opens at 11:30 AM. Sometimes, there are day-of reservations available. You can also try joining the Walk-Up List through the Disneyland app. Just search for Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, and when the listing appears, you’ll see the option to “Join Walk-Up List.” Be sure to enable your phone’s location settings to make it work!

And if you’re hoping to sit inside the mysterious and magical tiki hideaway, keep in mind that starting at 8:00 PM, parties with Guests under 21 will be seated outside. So, earlier is better if you want to soak in all that atmospheric, enchanted goodness.

Now for dessert—don’t skip the Dole Whip! Trader Sam’s is one of the few places outside the Parks that serves this tropical treat. The last time I went, I asked my Dole Whip if it wanted to go on a date… but it gave me the cold shoulder.

I hope this info was helpful, Tim! If you have any more questions, need help navigating the jungle, or just want more magical tips, feel free to write back to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists—we’d be over the moon like Maui to help.

    Mahalo and Happy Planning!
