I traded in some old passes and had these Disney passes sent to me. I want to make sure they are linked to my account and have genie plus, how do I do that?

    Greetings, Mark!

Welcome to planDisney, friend! I am so very glad that you found us. It looks like your adventure to the Most Magical Place on Earth is coming up soon. I hope that you and your travel party are getting excited. This is such a great year to visit. All four theme parks are currently celebrating The World's Most Magical Celebration. This 50th-anniversary event is full of new and exciting experiences including the Fab 50 Character Collection and the Beacons of Magic. Be sure to set aside some time to look for your favorite character sculptures throughout the parks. They are absolutely adorable.

The best place to confirm that tickets are linked to your account is by logging in to your My Disney Experience. Select the My Plans option of the drop-down menu on the Walt Disney World website. Your tickets would be listed on this page. You can also check to see if your tickets are loaded to your account on the My Disney Experience mobile app. Simply tap the three bars on the bottom of the screen. Click the Tickets and Passes tile. The next page will show any tickets that are currently linked. When viewing your linked tickets, you will be able to see the ticket type. If the ticket has any add ons such as Park Hopper or Disney Genie+ it will be listed.

Should you find that your new tickets are not linked, you can do so through your My Disney Experience account in just a few easy steps. And, if you have not created one yet, Hakuna Matata! You can set up an account in just a matter of moments. Tickets can be linked through the My Plans tab of the My Disney Experience drop-down menu on the Walt Disney World website. There will be a blue Park Ticket symbol. Choose Link Tickets from the drop-down options to proceed. You can also link tickets through the My Disney Experience app, select the Tickets and Passes tile, and then click Link Tickets & Passes. If you are still unable to link your tickets, I recommend reaching out to a friendly Cast Member with Existing Tickets. They will be able to offer support in adding tickets to an account and confirm that your tickets are properly linked.

Once your tickets are linked, don't forget to make your Disney Park Pass reservations. All four theme parks require a reservation in addition to a valid theme park ticket. You can check each park's availability through the helpful online calendar. Reservations can fill up quickly as this is such an exciting time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. Don't delay, make your Disney Park Pass reservations today!

I hope that your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
    We'll see ya real soon!
