I would like to see if I can trade one day of park tickets to the waterpark? If yes what do I need to do.

Hi, Cristina! Thanks for swimming on by with another question for your planDisney pals!

Splashing away at a Disney water park is a great way to cool off on a Florida summer day. With your vacation less than a week away, I don’t blame you a bit for thinking about squeezing in a day in the water! Generally, Disney’s policy is that theme park tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, so I don’t think you’d be able to exchange your park tickets for water park tickets. However, you could likely upgrade your tickets to add the Water Park and Sports Option, which would let you visit one theme park per day, plus a number of visits to other destinations like Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, and regulation or miniature golf courses. It’s one way for you to add a little something extra to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Cristina, you can always call Disney’s Guest Relations at the number listed for “Existing Tickets,” and a friendly Cast Member can walk you through exactly what your options are. That will help you decide the best way for your family to make the most of all of your Disney days.

I hope you have a wonderful time on land and in the water on your Walt Disney World vacation, Cristina. Please feel free to splash by and see us again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
