Can you trade buttons for pins? I just bought 34 buttons on the shopDisney but I can't find this answer anywhere. One mom said it's a fun way to interact with cast member and some about pin trading but never said if you can use them in pin trading?

    Hello, Stephanie!

Pin trading is indeed a super fun activity to engage with Cast Members at the Theme Parks! Not only for little ones, but for grown-ups, too. My husband and I usually take our pin collection to the Walt Disney World Resort, and we sometimes engage in pin trading. It's super fun!

I've never seen buttons being traded for pins, so I think it would be wise to buy a few sets of pins to get you started on the game. There are some adorable options at Shop Disney, ranging from famous wizards to musical sea creatures. If you're within the return window for your buttons, you can even keep your favorites and return the remaining to exchange them for pins!

You will also want a lanyard to carry them through the Theme Parks, so it's a great idea to get one at the Emporium at Magic Kingdom Park, for example!

I hope that your pin trading activities give you a lot of fun moments and interactions at the Walt Disney World Resort, Stephanie!

If more questions pop up before December, please, come back. We love to trade and collect ideas!

May the magic be with you,

    Julie
