Hi there, Nancy!
I’m so glad you brought this question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m a big fan of introducing little ones to the magic of Disney early on, so my own kids were just a few months old during their first visit to the
Disneyland Resort!
Yes, there is a
Baby Care Center in each of the two theme parks that will be a helpful resource for you while exploring the theme parks with your infant! They provide full-size changing tables, private nursing spaces with comfy chairs, and baby food prepping areas with a sink and microwave. You’ll also be able to purchase essentials like diapers, wipes, baby food, formula, bottles, pacifiers, sunscreen, some over-the-counter medicines and other essentials you might need. You can find the Baby Care Center in Disneyland Park at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. next to First Aid. In Disney California Adventure Park, it’s located next to Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop.
I think you’ll be pleased by how many attractions you can enjoy as a family. If there is no minimum height requirement for an attraction or it’s listed as being for “any height,” then it’s safe for your baby to ride with you! For those rides not suitable for your little one, you may want to take advantage of the Rider Switch program, which allows Guests with children who don’t meet the minimum height requirement to take turns experiencing attractions. One of you can ride while the other adult waits with the baby. You then "swap" so the second adult can enjoy the attraction without waiting in line all over again.
I hope this information helps you plan, Nancy. Please stop by again with any other questions you can dream of as your pixie-dusted vacation draws near!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
