Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by to see us again - this time as you prepare to set sail on the beautiful
Disney Dream! I've sailed on the Dream more than any other cruise ship, and I fall a little more in love each time I set foot on board.
Deanilis, character greetings are always a highlight for my family on every Disney Cruise Line vacation.
Character appearances may vary by ship and itinerary, but you'll easily be able to view a full list of character experiences during your sailing in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once you board. While I didn't see Toy Story characters meeting Guests on my most recent cruise on the Dream, I did have a chance to give hugs to Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Daisy Duck, Pluto, and many, many more!
While I can't promise whether you'll have a chance to say hi to Woody or Buzz during your cruise, there are several places on board where you can
enjoy some Toy Story fun. One of our favorite spots in
Disney's Oceaneer Club is Andy's Room. This youth space is generally reserved for children between the ages of 3 and 10, but all Guests are welcome to visit during scheduled Open House times, which will be posted in your app.
The Golden Mickey's is another great opportunity to keep your eyes open for a Toy Story character or two. This Broadway-style show celebrates songs and stories from beloved Disney movies and currently features a few friends from Toy Story. I'd also suggest checking the app for movies playing on Funnel Vision (located on the
pool deck) and in the
Buena Vista Theater to see if you can catch any of your favorite films.
If you're the ultimate Toy Story and Pixar fan, you may want to consider a
Pixar Days at Sea cruise in the future. These special sailings offer unique dining, entertainment, and character greetings that make for one unforgettable adventure! When you're using the "
Find A Cruise" search tool on the Disney Cruise Line website, you can filter by themed cruises under the "More Filters" option.
