Hi! We have a toy frying pan from the Disney store that we are bringing to the Bin Voyage breakfast for Flynn and Rapunzel to sign in September! Are we allowed to take the frying pan into Epcot as we are going there right from breakfast? Thank you!!!!!

    Hi Leanne,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another great question, my fellow Canadian!

Your toy frying pan sounds like a wonderful way to highlight your time with Rapunzel and Flynn (Eugene, to his close friends) at Trattoria Al Forno during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

Although Rapunzel uses her frying pan for self-defence, I don’t think that it fits the definition of prohibited items in the Walt Disney World Property Rules as most people wouldn’t consider it a weapon. Of course, Guests can also be asked not to enter the Theme Parks with other items that may be deemed “harmful or disruptive”, so I’d recommend keeping your frying pan in a small backpack so that it doesn’t get in the way and become disruptive during your day’s touring plans.

I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect day at Epcot during your upcoming Disney Parks vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
