Ahoy there, Deborah! Welcome aboard planDisney!
I see you and your crew are just over a month away from your cruise, and judging by your question, you'll be making a call at
Disney Castaway Cay! Get ready for an incredible island getaway!
When it comes time to dry off - usually to snag another serving of soft serve at the many locations around the island -
Disney Cruise Line has Guests covered! As you debark the ship, you'll see crew members stationed just beyond the gangway with all the towels you could possibly need! There is no need to take the towels from your room, and definitely no need to pack any from home. When you're done, you can simply toss them in the used towel bins - just be sure not to mistakenly throw them in the waste cans!
Oh, and one other "planDrew-approved" tip: be sure to bring an empty beach bag to help you carry all your towels on the walk or tram ride to the beach! It also doubles as a handy way to bring any souvenirs - especially Olaf or Sven sippers - that you purchase while enjoying your day!
Now, one thing I do know some Guests choose to bring are towel clips - it does get windy out there on the high seas when topside, so those clips do come in handy for when the winds start to swirl.
I hope that helps dry out the questions you may have had about towels, Deborah! Thank you so much for your question, and if you have any others as you continue planning, please drop us another line here at planDisney!
Until then, may your anchor be tight and your compass true!
Andrew
