Ahoy, Michelle! I am thrilled to welcome you to planDisney as you get ready for your adventure at sea.
I am really glad you sailed by with this question. Hopefully, I can prevent you from making the same rookie mistake I did: I forgot to grab towels when heading out on a
Port Adventure. In Cozumel, we spent the day at a
beach resort. We checked in and met our group as directed on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, but we did not grab the beach towels available at the meeting location. Oops!
Lesson learned. If you are going on a Port Adventure with Disney Cruise Line, ask about towels when you check in. They will let you know where to find them.
If your cruise includes a stop at
Castaway Cay or
Lookout Cay, towels are usually provided as you disembark for all Guests enjoying these island destinations.
When we made arrangements on our own to go scuba diving, we asked the local dive shop about towels. Luckily, they provided them. It is always great to ask ahead of time to know if you should add towels to your reservation, bring cash for an additional charge, or add towels to your packing list.
Speaking of
packing lists, Disney Cruise has one to make sure you have thought of everything. If you are headed to the Caribbean, Bahamas or another warm destination, you may wonder why a sweater is on the list. I always pack a light cardigan. Most of my sundresses are perfect to pack for dinner and the shows, but the dining rooms and theaters get a bit chilly.
Michelle, I hope this helps answer your question. If any others come to mind, please come see us again at
planDisney.
