I have a ? about towel animals. We rcvd one on our last visit and were thrilled. Are they just to enjoy while there or can you to take them home? We left ours last time. Hoping for more on our trip next month. You guys are great, I'm addicted to the panel!

    Hi Bev,

I am sorry to hear that you left yours behind as they are definitely for you to take home.  We have a great collection of these wonderful towel origami animals in our bathroom at home (courtesy of Disney!).  On your next trip I suggest that you mention to the Front Desk of your WDW Resort your situation and hopefully they can make sure that you will receive one during that visit.  If you have time I also suggest to take a break and go over to the Polynesian Resort early in the morning and just inside the main entrance and to your left you will see a cast member making Hawaiian Leis for the dancers who perform at the "Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show".  There will be a small table for children to participate and make special bracelets with artificial flowers and Mickey Pasta (this is a must do for my daughter every trip we take).  Now on to where I wanted to go with this.........Towel Origami Animals!  On most days early in the morning (up until about 12:00pm), there will be one of these fabulous cast members sitting in this area and making these adorable animals for children to see and if you ask real nice they will even offer them right there for the children to take home with them.  This is all quite an experience to watch and the interaction that the children experience here with the Hawaiian crafts they are able to make really gives them a feel of the Hawaiian culture!

This towel origami is not guaranteed to guests staying at a WDW Resort (it really depends on who your mousekeepers are!).  I answered another similar question HERE about this subject if you want more information, but the Polynesian experience I mentioned above is probably your best bet to guarantee receiving one of these beautiful creatures.  Aloha!

    Best wishes,
