Are there tours that are available on board the Disney Fantasy?

    Ahoy, Damaris!

This past November, my family spent the week of Thanksgiving aboard the beautiful Disney Fantasy. While we'd sailed on the Fantasy before, we really wanted to learn more about the amazing ship that would be our floating home-away-from-home for seven nights!

On our first afternoon onboard, we decided to participate in the Walking Ship Tour. This 30-minute tour is led by a Disney Cruise Line Cast Member, who'll go over the ins and outs of all you'll need to know to navigate your way around the ship. You'll learn tips and tricks, such as how to read the markings on the hallway carpets to know which direction is Forward, and which is Aft. (Hint: there are stars on the carpets, and the top point of the star always points Forward!) You'll also learn all about the Walt Disney Theatre, and get tips about what time to arrive and where to sit for the Broadway-style shows each evening. A quick stop at Buena Vista Theatre includes an overview of the first-run movies that will be shown during your sailing. You'll stop by other locations throughout the ship, including the adult-exclusive areas. By the end of the tour, you'll have a greater knowledge about all there is to see and do during your Disney Cruise Line vacation! This tour was offered three times during our sailing.

Another fun tour is the Art of the Theme Show Tour, for adults only. This tour takes you through various areas on the ship, revealing facts and tidbits about artistic design and detail. You'll learn the reasons for certain design choices and how some of the names of venues on the ship were chosen. It's very interesting to learn these little-known facts about the ship! The tour was offered three times during our sailing. To find times and locations for these and other activities, simply check your Personal Navigator, a detailed newsletter delivered to your stateroom each day.
