Do we have to have a touring plan? I have made reservations for dinner. But i want a relaxed vaca not having to stress being on a timeline. Children 14,9,3

    Hi Kimberly,

To tour or not to tour on your Walt Disney World vacation. This is a big challenge for a lot of people and here is what I recommend.

I would pick one park a day to tour if you are going to a park. In that park, have your three FastPass+ reserved so you can reduce your wait time. I would book must-see attractions and maybe select character greetings such as Elsa and Anna. Parades and fireworks can be optional.

Ask your children what three attractions or entertainment must they do in each park and concentrate on doing those.

After that, build around your dinner and see where the magic takes you.

Finally, stick to your family's schedule. If you are early risers, then go to parks early and return after dinner. We are usually in the parks between 8:00 am and 9:00 am and home to our resort by 9:00 pm most nights. We will stay out late once or twice during our trip but a well rested family helps keeps my family stress free.

Remember, it is your family's vacation and enjoy it the way you want to enjoy it!

    Wishing you a magical day!
