    Tour of ships at Canaveral

Hello, Lisa! Welcome to planDisney. I'm glad you stopped by with your question.

The ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet are masterpieces of design, blending beautiful spaces that are equipped with the latest technology with charming details from beloved stories. I can definitely understand why you'd be interested in touring the ships while they are docked at Port Canaveral. As it turns out, the ships are not available for tours only.

If you choose to book a Disney Cruise, there are usually Crew Member-led tours of the public spaces of the ship scheduled throughout the sailing. I love to join in on these tours and learn more about the artful inspiration behind the design choices in the themed spaces on the ship. I've gained so much appreciation for the thoughtful details you'll find onboard, from the carpets to the lighting fixtures.

If a Disney Cruise isn't in your near future, you might enjoy watching Making the Wish: Disney's Newest Cruise Ship on Disney+. While the Wish is no longer the newest ship in the fleet, the documentary highlights so much of the hard work that goes into designing Disney Cruise Line ships. I think it is worth a watch!

Lisa, please cruise to us again if you have additional questions. My pals and I will be here for you.

    Have a magical day,

    Adrianna
