Welcome to
Disney Parks Moms Panel, John!
Great question!
When you arrive at
Magic Kingdom Park for a reservation that takes place prior to park open, simply look for the Cast Member who is directing
guests with reservations at that time; there should be a sign at that area as well.
The rest of the guests will wait in line to enter the park when it opens, many of whom will be there to enjoy
Magic Kingdom Welcome Show--it's a crowd favorite and is really a hoot to watch. Guests with
Magic Kingdom tours or
Advanced Dining Reservations, however, will be directed to one side of the entrance area. You'll tell the Cast Member there your name and which reservations you have arrived to attend, at which point you'll be allowed to enter Magic Kingdom.
Now, if you can, arrive even earlier than 7:45, as you may want to stop and take some photos of the always-gorgeous Main Street U.S.A. before crowds enter. Truly, this is a beautiful sight, one that many guests do not get to see, too, so allow yourself a few minutes to take it all in and snap a selfie or two while you do.
Have a magical stay, John!
Be sure to send more questions as you plan, too; we love to help!
