Can you still tour the different resorts if you are not staying on the grounds? Any resort where we could see the fireworks?

Touring the different resorts is one of my favorite activities in WDW. You can dine, shop and look around at the amenities.

From the Magic Kingdom, take the boat or monorail and visit the Contemporary, Grand Floridian and/or Polynesian resorts.

The Wishes Fireworks display can be seen from the beach at the Polynesian. Arrive early for a hammock or lounge chair.

Wishes can also be viewed from the Boat Launch at the Grand Floridian. Take the path past Narcoossee's Restaurant and you'll see the dock straight ahead. There are only a few benches to sit on so arrive early if needed. The Wishes soundtrack is piped in!
