Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for reaching out! The Disneyland Resort tours are such a magical way to learn more about the Happiest Place on Earth, so I'm happy to hear you're considering one for an upcoming visit.
There are different tours available throughout the year, but you can see the current available options on the
Special Events & Tours page. I've personally had the opportunity to experience a couple of tours over the years, but my absolute favorite is
Walk in Walt's Footsteps Guided Tour, which typically ends with special access to Walt's private apartment above the Fire House on Main Street, U.S.A.
All of these tours are fantastic - you really can't go wrong - mostly because of that wonderful Cast Member tour guides who lead them and have a wealth of information about the Disneyland Resort.
To book one, you can select it from the Special Events & Tours page and then click the blue "Check Available Days" button on the tour page to see when it is offered. Again, many of these tours are offered seasonally and limited in capacity, so this is one element of your visit that I'd recommend booking as early as possible.
