    TOUGH CHOICE...HDR or Fantasmic? Not enough time in vacation to do both & must pick! Will have a chance to watch Wishes & Illuminations, but scheduled HDR the only night that Fantasmic is showing, now I don't know what to do??? (Four boys

    Hi, Mindy! That's a tough choice. Whew. Hoop Dee Doo is all sorts of awesome. So is Fantasmic. I want to help you be mother of the year and pull off both. Here's how:

    If you're not staying at Fort Wilderness, using the Disney Transportation System from Hoop Dee Doo to your home resort usually takes a little longer because it involves a bus transfer. On the other hand, Fort Wilderness offers direct bus transportation to Hollywood Studios. You can make this work to your benefit.

    Hoop Dee Doo is about two hours long (in order to satisfy the threshold of cornbread consumption.) It has three shows nightly - 5:00 p.m., 7:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. If possible, reengineer your night by doing the 5:00 p.m. show of Hoop Dee Doo. Then, head to Hollywood Studios for Fantasmic. Finally, pat yourself on the back. You did it!
