Hello Kevin, and welcome to planDisney!
I'm always happy to dish out some thoughts about
Walt Disney World dining; it's one of my favorite parts of vacation! My dinner plans
tonight may be a bit up in the air, but I know for sure that six weeks from now, I'll be enjoying bobotie, butternut squash soup, and a glass of South African wine at
Boma - Flavors of Africa.
Speaking of culinary treasures,
Narcoosee's at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is making waves with its recent refurbishment. My husband and I stopped by over the summer for a cocktail and appetizer. The
Magic Kingdom Park views were stunning as always, and the shrimp and grits appetizer was delightful - a truly great catch!
While there isn't a way to speak with a Narcoosee's Cast Member from home, if your situation requires direct communication and you can make it work with your schedule, I recommend stopping by the restaurant once you are in Walt Disney World.
If you're celebrating a special occasion and want to make note of it on your reservation,
reach out to Disney dining and a Cast Member will assist you. Looking to sweeten the end of your meal with a
Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake? This can be done at participating restaurants as you finalize your dining reservation or by clicking the "Change Reservation" button in the My Plans section of My Disney Experience. Sometimes Guests want to contact a restaurant directly to pay for a loved one's meal as a gift. The best way to accomplish this is to send the friend or family member a Disney Gift Card for the anticipated cost of their meal. Finally, if
allergies or special dietary accommodations are a concern, a chef is often available to speak with your party once you are seated at the restaurant.
I hope I've helped you today, Kevin! If you didn't find what you were looking for, feel free to
write me back directly. Thanks again for sending your question our way, and best wishes for a magical (and delicious!) vacation.
Bon appetit,
Betsy
