Totally confused! Group of 10 coming soon. Have the reg dining plan. 2 have just had gastric bypass and eat very little. If they order just a side or appetizer and pay OOP, can their meal credit be used by another family member also on the plan?Extra CS?

    Hi Denise,

The Disney Dining Plan is incredibly flexible.  That's one of the many reasons my family uses it so often.

Once your Disney Dining Plan credits are placed on your Key to the World card (room key), you may use them to pay for the meals of anyone in your group.  If your family members with recent gastric bypass surgery wish to pay for their own food out-of-pocket, they are certainly welcome to use their leftover dining plan credits to pay for someone else's meal.  This practice would be possible whether you are talking about table service, snack, or quick service credits.  No problem!  (Credits are associated with a resort room, not with a specific individual in the room.  Anyone in the room may use them.)

If you have any additional questions about using the Disney Dining Plan, just let me know.  I'd be delighted to help!

    Best wishes,
    Jill
