Totally confused where is best to stay and which tickets are best. Travelling next August and want to stay on Disney itself. Children two boys aged 5 and 3 and 2 adults any information to help before I book thank you ?

Hi Donna - Before you make any plans, you'll want to think about what resort and tickets are best for you.

If you want to stay onsite, you’ll want to decide which specific hotel you want to stay at. Hotels at Walt Disney World are available in three categories – Deluxe, Moderate, and Value. Every hotel has some great benefits, and it’s really difficult for me to choose a favorite. Check out the Walt Disney World website or some guidebooks to decide what's best for you.  Or, if you want to ask again here on the Moms Panel - let us know what category best fits your budget and we'd be happy to help.

For tickets, there are several options available at different prices so you can buy exactly what you’ll need. The base tickets are available for one to ten days – the price per day decreases as you purchase more days. These tickets are good for one park per day and you cannot use two days on your ticket to enter two parks in one day. So, if you want to go to more than one park per day, you’ll want the park hopper option. If you want to go to the water parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports, or DisneyQuest, the Water Parks Fun and More option may be a good idea.  I usually forgo the Water Parks Fun and More option, but do like having the park hopper option on my tickets so I can eat dinner at a different park from the one we visit for the day.

I hope that helps!  Have a great vacation!
