Hello, a total of 12 ppl are visiting Disneyland next week and we would like to know if we can take an igloo cooler with dimensions: L x W x H ‎18.5 x 17.1 x 13.3 inches. What time of prepared food can we take in? Pasta salad, ceviche and tostadas are ok?

    Hiya, Jennifer,

A large gathering at the Disneyland Resort sounds magical. I think you have a great plan to enjoy your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth.

You are welcome to take outside food with you during your visit to the Disneyland Resort. Your suggested menu sounds just great, as they would probably not require reheating. Your cooler is a great idea to keep your food fresh. Since it is larger than a 6-pack-sized cooler, it would not be permitted within the theme parks. But it fits within the larger cooler size limits and you would be allowed to take it to the picnic area outside the parks where you may rent a jumbo-sized locker to store it for the day. Be sure to be familiar with other Disneyland Resort rules as well.

Tony’s Tip: If you plan on using the optional Disney Genie+ service during your visit to the Disneyland Resort, you may find it more manageable to split into smaller groups when linking tickets to various accounts in the Disneyland mobile app. That would allow you to send smaller groups off to different attractions that would be of greater interest to them. For example, some might be interested in riding “It’s a small world” while others ride the Matterhorn Bobsleds. When everyone wants to enjoy a particular attraction at the same time, whoever happens to have all of the park tickets linked to their account may book a Lightning Lane return time for everyone. Or if multiple accounts are used, that’s OK too. As long as booked return times have the same or overlapping times, you are welcome to enjoy your experience together.

I hope you have a magical time, Jennifer!
