Hi Andres! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for your service and sacrifice.
I'm a Navy wife, and the Walt Disney World Resort is my family's go-to destination when we need some R&R and together time. We'll be arriving in just a few weeks to celebrate my husband's return from his deployment and I cannot wait! I'm so happy to hear you're planning your own visit this autumn.
The
Military Promotional Theme Park Tickets are a fantastic deal for our active, retired, and reserve service members. You will be able to purchase these tickets at your local base ticket office or via email from Shades of Green, the resort for military members on Walt Disney World Resort property.
You will need to show your military ID to activate these tickets when you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort; your "Retired" military ID card with "DAVPRM" on it is the ID that you will need to show. To activate the tickets, stop by a
Guest Relations location outside the theme parks or at Disney Springs - it's a quick process and then you'll be ready for the magic to begin!
Andres, once you purchase your military-discounted tickets, you will need to make
Disney Park Pass reservations for each day you plan to visit a theme park. There's a great video on the website that shows you how to do this step-by-step.
Be sure to take a look at the
offer details for the theme park tickets to find the details about adding Memory Maker to your vacation at a military discount. There's also a
military discount on select Disney Resorts Collection hotel rooms; to find out if there is availability for your visit dates, along with pricing, please call (407) 939-1936 to speak with a Reservations Cast Member.
As you count down the days to your visit, please come back and see us if you think of any more questions. It's always a pleasure to help my fellow military families with their Disney plans!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
