    Torn between WL and contemporary. Love the convenience of contemporary but WL seems a better bang for the buck. I have a 6 year old and want to be close to MK but the contemporary pool seems a bit boring. First trip to Disney. Any thoughts?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    There is no doubt that Disney's Contemporary Resort is in a very convenient location, but it is no secret that Disney's Wilderness Lodge is my most favourite resort of all. Set in a stunning lakeside location, you can still be at the Magic Kingdom Park within a few minutes, by a relaxing boat ride.  There are two fabulous pools - the zero-entry Boulder Ridge Cove Pool, and Copper Creek Springs Pool with a 67-foot waterslide, and nearby hot and cold whirlpool spas, and a new children's activity splash play area, and the Fire Rock Geyser which erupts on the hour from around 7.00am until 10.00pm.

    With four restaurants, you are spoilt for choice. Whispering Canyon Cafe is so much fun, ensure you ask for ketchup! Reservations can be made online, by calling (407) 939 3463, or by using the My Disney Experience mobile app. Roaring Fork is a quick service restaurant for good fast food and light snacks and Geyser Point Bar & Grill, another quick service option, provides the most glorious views of Bay Lake. You will also love the new Story Book dining at Artist Point with Snow White.  Reservations are essential here.

    And lastly, the breathtaking lobby is the place to relax and soak up the atmosphere. Big comfy chairs, carved totem poles, and a bubbling stream!  And located just off the lobby is the Wilderness Lodge Mercantile where will find unique resort-themed products and all the essentials.
