We are torn between wilderness Lodge and contemporary garden wing. Our daughter is 4. Please help!

    Hi Mary,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You are deciding between two fabulous resort hotels at the Walt Disney World Resort. It's always difficult because there are so many great resort hotel options. I don't think you would regret staying at either resort hotel.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge is gorgeous, has great dining options, and is in a prime location close to Magic Kingdom Park. My husband's favorite resort quick-service dining location, Roaring Fork is at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Disney's Contemporary Resort is beautiful, has great dining options, is in a great location with views of Magic Kingdom Park, and has easy access to the Monorail. My favorite resort quick-service dining location, Contempo Cafe, is at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

If you are planning to visit all four theme parks, I would have to give the edge to Disney's Contemporary Resort. The convenience of the Monorail is hard to beat, especially if you might have a stroller with you. If you are planning to spend most of your time at Magic Kingdom Park or at your resort hotel pool, I would choose Disney's Wilderness Lodge. The ferries and launches are a great way to travel to and from Magic Kingdom Park. Plus, I could spend several days enjoying the beautiful Copper Creek Springs Pool.

I hope this helps in your decision making! Mary, thank you for visiting us again with another question. Be sure to let us know if you have any other planning questions.
    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Amy H.
